Established in 2023, and launched in July of 2024, the Newport Community Sailing Center brings sailing to all members of our vibrant Vermont community. We believe that access to the water, and the skills to navigate it, should be available to everyone regardless of age, background or ability. It’s our mission to inspire, educate, and empower locals and visitors alike to experience the unrivaled beauty of Lake Memphremagog the best way we know; on the water.

We plan to offer a variety of ways to get out on the lake for all experience levels, including starting with sailing and continuing with paddleboarding* and kayaking*.. Whatever your water sport of choice, we’re here to help you learn and access the equipment and skills you need to optimize your time enjoying Lake Memphremagog. Our fleet is operational from June through September for adult and children’s sailing lessons, sailboat rentals, sailing cruises, and guided events. We plan to start kayak and paddleboard rentals (starting summer of 2025)..
