Sailing Lessons

Sailing is a life-long endeavor and you are never too old to learn to sail. You can start your sailing journey with our “Intro-To-Sailing” course. A dedicated instructor will teach sailing basics on-land then move to the boat as your floating classroom on Lake Memphremagog. You’ll learn sailing terminology, boat rigging, sail trim, navigation, docking and boat/water safety…. and a few new knot tying skills in the process! Each student will raise and lower sails, trim the sails while underway, learn how the wind affects the sail trim and direction of the vessel. All students will have time at the helm steering the boat.

If you have sailed before, or to enhance your existing skills, we can provide instruction tailored to your needs. Please specify when signing up whether it is your first time sailing, or if you have sailed before so our instructor can prepare your sailing experience for you.
